Planning ahead can be difficult, and we understand if you’re feeling a bit hesitant about booking future travel plans. That’s why we’ve made it easier than ever for you to change your travel plans with us, if necessary. Our worry-free booking policy allows you to change your trip dates and/or location as many times as you need, free of charge, up until 80 days before your trip.

The deposit and all trip payments are transferable and good for life. So, if your trip was postponed or you need to reschedule for any reason, your trip payments can be transferred to any future trip at no additional cost, as long as you let us know within 80 days of your start date!

International Travel Insurance

Since unexpected events can happen while traveling, GIVE requires all volunteers to obtain and provide proof of International Travel Insurance that includes medical coverage, trip cancellation, and trip interruption. Our trusted partner travel insurance providers do not have an endemic or pandemic exclusion for their policies (for most states), which means you can make claims related to COVID-19 for the benefits included in your policy. If you unexpectedly get sick or injured before you leave for your trip, you may also be eligible for trip cancellation coverage, which includes reimbursement for any pre-paid non-refundable travel expenses such as flights, hotels, and excursions. You can also purchase “Cancel for Any Reason” covered within 24-hours of securing your trip date.

Having insurance will help put your mind at ease, so you can fully focus on your volunteer efforts and adventures in your destination.
