Scuba Conservation Itinerary
Trip Length: 11 Days – Krabi • Phi Phi Islands • Ao Luek • Laem Sak
Days 1-2
Touch Down in Thailand
After landing in Krabi, meet your GIVE guides and fellow volunteers before transferring to your accommodations. Settle in, relax, and enjoy your first authentic Thai dinner together. The following day, kick off your adventure with an in-depth orientation and immerse yourself in Thai culture during a hands-on Southern Thai cooking class.
Days 3-5
Get PADI Scuba Certified
Earn your PADI Open Water certification through pool sessions and five open-water dives in the Andaman Sea. Already certified? Advance your skills with PADI Advanced or specialty courses. On day five, dive the world-famous Phi Phi Islands, snorkel alongside blacktip reef sharks, and contribute to shark conservation research as a citizen scientist.

Day 6
Coral Conservation Dives
Become an underwater conservationist by learning to assess reef health, repair coral damage, and remove marine debris. Then put your new skills into action during two research-focused conservation dives.
Day 7
Rock Climbing & Community
Scale the iconic limestone cliffs of Ao Leuk, with routes for every experience level. Afterwards, travel to the coastal community of Laemsak, where you’ll meet local residents, explore the village, and prepare for the community-led projects ahead.

Days 8-9
Conservation & Immersion
Experience daily life in Laemsak through hands-on conservation and cultural exchange. Join community-led initiatives including mangrove restoration, youth education, waste management and upcycling, batik painting, clam digging, and cooking with local families while learning how thriving communities create lasting environmental impact.
Days 10-11
Kayaking & Youth Education
Begin the day with a sunrise kayak through the mangrove forests before leading educational workshops with local youth, sharing everything you’ve learned throughout the program. Celebrate your journey with your GIVE family before heading home or to your next GIVE adventure!
