Volunteer
Get your hands dirty volunteering with local nonprofits on a variety of environmental restoration projects, such as removing invasive species, planting native species, and restoring riparian buffers along the Snoqualmie River. Your work will help protect critical habitat for NW salmon, which are a key source of food for the native orca populations you will get to see on the last day of your trip!
Adventure
After volunteering to preserve this Pacific NW wonderland each morning, your afternoons are free to explore it. Swim in alpine lakes, summit Cascade peaks, tube the Snoqualmie River, and explore Snoqualmie Falls while learning about its sacred importance to the Snoqualmie Tribe. Your trip culminates with a whale-watching cruise through the Salish Sea – searching for wild orcas, humpbacks, minkes, gray whales, sea lions, seals and bald eagles!
If I have anything to say about this trip, it’s take it! This trip changed my life forever and has left me with the most amazing memories and incredible knowledge that I use with me back home. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about to work that I did with GIVE and the incredible experiences we shared together. Being able to share these moments with such an amazing and supportive group of people is a beautiful experience. It’s thrilling to be able to come home and still do a tiny bit of work we did during the trip. I will definitely be seeing PNW and GIVE soon for WILD!!
