Where can you teach abroad with GIVE?
Each of our teaching abroad programs is rooted in a different community, educational setting, and cultural experience, all designed to support local learning goals while giving you meaningful, hands-on involvement.
Thailand
Teach English and provide meaningful support to over 250 students at Wang Meriew School in Northern Thailand. A place that doesn’t just educate, but houses and feeds children who need it most. Many of these students are refugees from Myanmar’s civil war, and as a volunteer, you’ll work alongside them both in the classroom and garden, where students grow the very food that nourishes them.
Zanzibar
Teach English and lead the island’s only computer class alongside the thriving community of Kairo. Skuli Ya Kairo GIVE is a school built by local engineers, community members, and GIVE volunteers for students to have access to education in their own community. The school now serves over 280 students and proudly ranks 1st in the district and 3rd in the region.
Nicaragua
Teach English at the iconic “Bottle School” in Jiquilillo, Nicaragua. This technical school was GIVE’s very first infrastructure project built from over 20,000 repurposed eco-bricks in 2012. Today, you’ll teach English and Computer Science alongside local children, teens, and adults in a school that has grown into a thriving hub of education and opportunity for the entire community.

What impact will your service make?
Education is the key that unlocks a world of possibility. No matter where you’re from, access to it is a fundamental human right. In the communities where we work, learning English opens doors to higher education, better-paying jobs, and something even deeper: personal empowerment. Especially for the women and girls who are the heartbeat of every community we serve.
Ready to teach abroad with purpose?
Education opens doors to greater opportunity, confidence, and long-term empowerment. In many of the communities where we work, English can support access to higher education, expanded job opportunities, and stronger self-belief. By supporting local learning environments, you become part of something much bigger than a single classroom moment.
If you’re looking for more than a typical trip and want an experience rooted in community, learning, and meaningful connection, our teaching abroad programs are designed for you.
Support students. Learn from local educators. Experience the world in a deeper way.
