Trip Highlights

 Trip Itinerary

Trip Length: 7 Days

November 17 – November 23, 2024

We recommend arriving 1-2 days early so you can get over jet lag and hit the ground running on day one. On dive days, you are welcome to snorkel instead of scuba dive. If scuba diving, you must have at least your Open Water certification.

Day 1

Arrival & Welcome Dinner with Nicole

Your GIVE guides will pick you up from the airport and bring you directly to our hotel to relax and settle in. That evening we will gather for a welcome dinner and drinks with Nicole and the rest of your fellow travelers!

Day 2

Andaman Island Hopping & Railay Beach Sunset

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a traditional longtail boat to explore barrier islands, emerald lagoons, vibrant reefs, and secluded beaches in the Andaman Sea. To cap it off, we’ll stop at spectacular Railay Beach for dinner, drinks and people watching as the sun sets over the horizon.

Day 3

Fun Dives at Phi Phi & Krabi Town Night Market

After breakfast, we’ll head into the open ocean on a high speed catamaran to explore some of the best scuba and snorkeling sites of the stunning Phi Phi Islands. On the way home, we’ll stop off at Maya Bay to see where Leonardo Dicaprio and co. filmed The Beach!

That night we’ll head to the Krabi Town Night Market to try some delicious local street food and shop for clothes, jewelry, handicrafts, and other souvenirs from local vendors.

Day 4

Coral Reef Conservation Dives & Thai Cooking Class

To start the day, we will learn techniques to identify and fix the most common types of coral damage and how to conduct reef health surveys while diving or snorkeling. From there we’ll go on two dives off the Ao Nang coast to put these skills into practice! All data collected will be sent to our partners to support scientific research.

That night we’ll learn to cook like a local, from a local, during a Thai cooking class! We’ll choose fresh ingredients and get hands-on guidance in creating authentic Thai dishes like massaman curry, pad Thai, tom yum soup, and more.

Day 5

Mangrove Kayaking & Limestone Rock Climbing

Start the day kayaking through mangrove forests and learning about how critical these ecosystems are to coastal communities and marine life. Along the way, we will collect mangrove seeds and seedlings to support a local mangrove nursery and restoration project!

Later that afternoon, we’ll rope up for a Mindful Movement Rock Climbing Course. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned climber, we’ve got routes available for all ability-levels and experienced guides to keep you safe and the stoke high!

Day 6

Shark Conservation Dives & Final Celebration

After learning about shark evolution, biology and conservation initiatives from shark researchers, we’ll dive and snorkel with sharks in their natural habitat and record our observations in a global database that supports shark research and conservation around the world!

That night we’ll gather on the beach for our final dinner together and then hit the town to celebrate an amazing trip!

Day 7

Check-out & Airport Drop-offs

All good things must come to an end, but these memories and friendships will be with you forever. Soak up your last few hours in Krabi before heading home or off to your next adventure!
