Nicaragua: Coastal Connection & Community
Arrive in Managua and travel through Nicaragua’s stunning land of lakes and volcanoes to the peaceful fishing village of Jiquilillo. Settle into our beachfront lodge, where ocean breezes, fresh meals, and hammock sunsets define your days.
Each day:
• Restore mangrove forests
• Teach English in rural coastal schools
• Support sea turtle conservation
• Surf, paddleboard, or learn Spanish in your free time

Costa Rica: Coastal Village Life in Gandoca
Arrive in San José, then journey south through rainforest-covered hills to Gandoca, a vibrant Caribbean coastal village. Stay with a local homestay family and immerse yourself fully in Costa Rican life.
Each day:
• Support children at the village school
• Contribute to community-led development projects
• Explore beaches, canoe through mangroves, and embrace pura vida living

Important things to keep in mind:
Pricing:
- Your first week on any Weekly Immersion Trip is $975. Each additional week after your first is $825.
- If you choose to join both Nicaragua and Costa Rica, each program requires its own first-week rate. This means you’ll pay $975 for your first week in Nicaragua and $975 for your first week in Costa Rica. Any extra weeks you add (in either location) will be $825 per week.
Length of experience:
- We typically offer these weekly trips for up to 4 weeks max, but if you are looking for a longer experience, please schedule a call with us here to see what’s available to you.
