Nepal Highlights

Your projects will take place just miles away from the epicenter of a devastating earthquake that continues to displace families, cripple the local economy and disrupt the education system nearly three years later. Partner with local families to rebuild strong, earthquake-resistant homes that will provide a foundation for community development, and teach fundamental English lessons at nearby primary schools, providing local children and teens with the language skills, knowledge and confidence to pursue further educational and professional opportunities.

GIVE’s Nepal Excursion pushes you to experience as much of this country as possible in 2 weeks – explore the bustling streets and medieval architecture of Kathmandu, whitewater raft through the scenic valleys and deep-river gorges of the Trishuli River, paraglide through the Himalayan foothills, and travel back in time to the ancient Hindu Kingdom of Bhaktapur – all beneath the shadow of Mother Earth’s most magnificent creation, the mighty Himalayas.

“GIVE Nepal was better than I ever hoped it would be. I learned a lot about the country of Nepal and myself during it. The highlights were helping a family rebuild their home after the 2015 earthquake, whitewater rafting, and exploring the atmosphere and culture of Nepal.”
