Volunteer
During your volunteer work in Laos, you will help to build a new wildlife sanctuary for more than 200 bears, macaques, leopard cats and other animals rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. You’ll also volunteer teaching English in Laos to children, teens and adults in order to help prepare them for a world of educational and professional opportunities. Last but not least, you will get to work alongside local farmers on community-based organic farming projects!
Adventure
GIVE’s Laos Volunteer Program takes you well off the beaten path in Southeast Asia to explore remote villages, meandering rivers, mountaintop vistas, scenic waterfalls, elaborate temples, dense jungles and vaulted caves. Along with volunteer opportunities in Laos, this journey also takes you hiking to the top of limestone peaks, swimming in the turquoise pools of Kuang Sii waterfall and learning about the ancient practice of meditation from Buddhist monks!
