Do you want to learn about the communities that you are visiting on your GIVE trip, why they struggle with extreme poverty, and how you can make a difference, while getting college credits that counts towards your graduation?
GIVE offers an accredited online academic course in conjunction with our trips to enable volunteers reflect on their experience. The course, UNIV 304: International Sustainable Development, challenges students to think about life in their GIVE host country and their ability to assist marginalized communities. You will earn 4-6 credits for taking action in the real world instead of sitting in a lecture hall! Through a combination of pre-trip assignments, discussion groups on the ground, and a fun post-trip final project, you will learn as you go on your GIVE journey and walk away with a deep understanding of your experience, as well as better leadership skills!
